|Description:||The International Business major is offered as a specialization for the Bachelor of Business Administration program and will prepare students for careers at organizations around the world. Students will be prepared for careers in profit or not-for-profit organizations around the world. Careers that International Business students may be able to pursue include those in the fields of consulting, international brand management, international human resources management, international advertising, foreign exchange trading, international lending, and government.
This major focuses on the interaction between global affairs and the functional domain of the enterprise from an international perspective. The core curriculum includes international business strategy, marketing, finance, human resource management, and sustainable development. Students have the option to choose between foreign language credits and equivalent credits in anthropology, political science, sociology, First Nations studies, and global studies.
