Description:

The objectives of this program are to develop in the students the basic competencies required to carry out machining tasks, to perform machining tasks on conventional machine tools, to perform programming tasks, to perform machining tasks on numerical control machine tools, to actively participate in multidisciplinary teams, and to integrate harmoniously into the school and work environments.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age.
    Additional Admission Requirements:
      Good reflexes (good hand-eye coordination), an interest in applied mathematics, an aptitude for mechanics, attention to detail and precision, computer skills, a sense of responsibility, good eyesight, an analytical mind, and the ability to work in a team are required.
