Description:

The Law Enforcement / Police Foundations dimploma program is designed to prepare students to apply to and work as a Police Officer, Customs and Immigrations Officer, Security, Private Investigation, Court Officers, Fraud Departments, etc. The Academy will assist students on an individual basis to ensure they progress to the career of their choice.

The Police Foundations program is a joint initiative between the Police Learning System Advisory Committee to establish minimum entrance standards for police services in Ontario.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Diploma programs will require an Ontario Secondary School graduation diploma or equivalent. If 18 years of age or older, you may qualify as a mature student. Mature students must obtain a passing grade on a literacy and general aptitude assessment. The National Academy of Health & Business also accepts students based on previous education, work experience and evaluation tests. All applicants will be assessed individually.
