Description:

Do you see yourself being involved in genetic engineering, biotechnology, medicine, conservation, or ecological restoration? Future advances in all of these areas rely on scientific research by plant biologists. In this program, you are invited to explore these areas alongside the largest concentration of plant scientists in Canada. We can provide experience in plant and algal systematics, physiology, genetics, agriculture, and biotechnology using the international expertise and advanced technology found in the Departments of Plant Agriculture, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Integrative Biology, and Environmental Biology.

Prerequisites:

  •  Grade12 Advanced Functions 
  • 2 of  Grade12 Business  or  Grade12 Chemistry  or  Grade12 Physics 
Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent and two additional Grade 12 U or U/C credits are required.
