| As a student in our health and fitness program, you'll study exercise science courses in anatomy and physiology, nutrition, principles of fitness, training with weights, exercise physiology, athletic injuries, and personal training. Additionally, you'll experience a variety of health and fitness courses to help you learn the valuable business skills that you'll need to start a successful career in fitness club management, or how to manage a club of your own. Our health and fitness program provides great hands-on, practical experience at Fanshawe's on-site fitness centre. You'll also get two extensive on-site work experiences at one of the employers or community partners of the program. |

- Grade12 English
- Grade11 Biology
OSSD with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (M), or Open (O) stream WITH:
- Any Grade 12 English (C) or (U)
- Grade 11 or Grade 12 Biology (C) or (U) OR Grade 12 Introductory Kinesiology (U)
(Note: minimum final grade required for each course is 65)
OR
Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE) WITH:
- Communications
- Biology
(Note: minimum final grade required for each course is 65)
OR
General Arts and Science Ontario College Certificate AND:
- minimum final grade of 'C+' or 65 in the required courses stated above
OR
Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) WITH:
- The combined Language Arts - Reading AND Language Arts - Writing test results having a minimum average Standard Score of 520 AND:
- Grade 11 or Grade 12 Biology (C) or (U) OR Grade 12 Introductory Kinesiology (U)

Mature Applicant with standing in the required courses and grades stated above |

| Additional Admission Requirements: | The following items are applicable to the program and are time sensitive. Please refer to www.fanshawec.ca/preplacement for important information about preparing for placement by the due date.
•Possession of a Standard First Aid course certificate (either St. John Ambulance or Canadian Red Cross or equivalent) and a Basic Rescuer course certificate (Level "C" CPR)
•Evidence of Good Health
•Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening, including a check of the Pardoned Sexual Offenders Database
•Placement Agreement
