Carpenters are responsible for constructing and improving every building from homes to schools to businesses. Carpenters' skills are in demand, now more than ever, due to the critical need for new housing, renovations to existing homes, and to support Ontario's growing economy.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

  •  Grade11 Mathematics 
Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, OR 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.), Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1270), and Grade 11 Mathematics, C, M (U/C), or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics for Trades (MATH1420).
