Child and youth care practitioners provide support and understanding to young people and their families. This six-consecutive-semester program teaches you to engage with children, youth and families in their everyday lives to promote optimal development and facilitate positive changes by using the principles of relational practice. Your eagerness to work with people and emotional maturity will help you meet the demands of working with children and youth with complex needs.

Admission requirements are as follows: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Mature Student Status, Grade 12 English (C or U) (minimum 60 per cent).
