Admission Requirements

Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 92]

Applicants are required to have demonstrated English Language Proficiency of 6.5 or better on the IELTS (Academic), no band score less than 6, or TOEFL-92.

The minimum admission requirement for the PhD program are: confirmation of an undergraduate degree with an overall GPA of 70% or higher as well as an MSc degree in Computer Science with an overall GPA of 80% or higher (when converted to Ontario standards). Applicants must meet the minimum requirements at the time of application. In order for an application package to be considered complete, the following documentation must be received by the application deadline: completed on-line application form, 3 Confidential reports (Reference letters), CV, Statement of Purpose (Research Statement Form), PhD: Title and abstract of your Computer Science Master’s Research Thesis, and Copies of Publications (if applicable).
