Students gain 80 hours ground school and are expected to pass the written examination with a 60% passing grade. Then students experience 200 hours total flight time including 100 hours pilot in command and 20 hours cross-country.
It is expected that after these steps applicants shall successfully be able to complete a flight test to Transport Canada standards. |

An applicant shall have completed the medical examination requirements in accordance with the Medical Standards for Civil Aviation Personnel Licensing and be in possession of a Category I medical. Applicants must have their private pilot license. |
