Description:

This program provides students with 40 hours of aeroplane ground school instruction, preparing them to sit a written examination with at least a 60% passing grade.

After the ground course students will get 45 hours flight time including the following: a minimum 17 hours dual instruction including 5 hours instrument flying and 3 hours cross country, and a minimum 12 hours solo flight time including 5 hours cross-country. After the practical and theoretical portions of the course students will then be able to successfully complete a flight test to Transport Canada standards.

    An applicant shall have completed the medical examination requirements in accordance with the Medical Standards for Civil Aviation Personnel Licensing and be in possession of a Category 3 Medical.
