Description:

The Doctor of Ministry is a conjoint degree with the University of Toronto. The program provides the opportunity to develop a comprehensive and critical understanding of ministry in which theory and practice inform and enhance one other. It is designed to assist students in gaining advanced expertise in the general practice of ministry as well as advanced skill in specialized area of research particular to their ministry. While remaining in their existing ministry base during studies, students engage in critical reflection on their practice of ministry in a collaborative way with other students in the program.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    DMin requires:
    1. The Master of Divinity degree accredited by the Association of Theological Schools, or its educational equivalent with a B+ average or better.
    2. A minimum of five years' experience in the practice of ministry.

    Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 250] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 100] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 600] or Test of Written English (part of TOEFL) [min. 5.0]
