Description:

This is a comprehensive one year program that includes the subjects taught in audio engineering schools, recording schools, and music production schools. Our intensive hands on and theory training in music recording, audio engineering, live sound, sound engineering, and digital audio work stations is taught in the classroom and in our state of the art recording studios. New music, beats, breaks, grooves, loops, sampling, and electronic music are all explored. Record production, ProTools, Reason, and other audio engineering software, audio for video, live sound reinforcement, songwriting, recording studio design, and an audio engineering practicum are among the many opportunities offered.

Prerequisites:

    Applicants must have Grade 12 or the equivalent, or be at least 19 years of age. Applicants must also complete a multiple choice entrance exam.
