Description:

Our Tourism Management program prepares you for a career in resorts, hotels, and other tourism operations. You can choose from a one-year certificate or complete the two-year diploma program. The program includes courses in tourism, business management, and related specialty courses.

You can choose to take the certificate or diploma completely online and work while going to school – or you can take the program in person at our Cranbrook campus. The Rockies are right outside the door, giving you the opportunity to blend lifestyle and learning in one of the most spectacular places on Earth – and one of BC’s hottest tourism destinations!

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade11 Mathematics  or  Grade11 Principles of Mathematics 
  •  Grade12 English 
Secondary school graduation (or equivalent) or applicants who can demonstrate prior industry experience may be admitted as mature students through consultation with the Program Coordinator and/or Career Advisor. Students must have at least a C standing in Principles or Applications of Math 11 or Math 080 or Math 082, English 12 or English 090 or 091, or TPC 12. Basic computer skills are also recommended.
