Description:The bilingual honours Business Economics (or BUEC) program combines the study of business administration and economics. It applies fundamental economic principles to business problems such as international trade, finance, and macroeconomics forecasting. Furthermore, the BUEC program develops managerial and accounting skills necessary to become successful in the business world. The rigorous training you will receive in both economics and business will progress from introductory courses in micro and macroeconomics to advanced courses such a game theory and econometrics. In addition, the broad range of courses will provide you the understanding of the challenges faced by companies and governments in industrialized as well as developing countries.

The liberal art perspective embedded in the BUEC program provides a unique, valuable, and flexible approach to complement your studies. For instance, you will have the possibility to reinforce you mathematical skills, learn about political science, or add an international component to your degree. Throughout your studies you will be able to count on your professors to receive individual attention and support in the bilingual environment we offer at Glendon. As a graduate of the BUEC program you will be well equipped to enter the private and public sectors as professional business economists. You will be able to tackle problems like public policy making and advising, industry and market analysis, financial consulting, and strategic planning.
