All returning students are required to pay their regular student fees ($164) in full by June 7, 2017 before registering for their courses. New students are required to pay the $164 in full by June 30, 2017 before they register. Payments may be made in full before registration by cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, money order or cheque. Post dated cheques will not be accepted. Any remaining fees (non-resident of Quebec, convocation fees, part time in-program fees, etc…) will be assessed by August 22 and due by September 8, 2017. Late payment fees of $25.00 will be applied to overdue accounts.

Description:

The Computer Science Technology Program equips students with the most in-demand skills needed for a career in software development or other information technology fields. In our state-of-the-industry labs, your hands-on learning experience will cover web applications, mobile apps, business software, automation tools and machine learning. Dawson’s Computer Science teachers pride themselves on incorporating the latest technology in their courses. The program concludes with an internship, which helps launch students into a successful career

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or equivalent, including Secondary V Language of Instruction, Secondary V Second Language, Secondary IV Science, Secondary IV Mathematics, Secondary IV History, and Mathematics 564-506 or 565-506 or Mathematics 526 or Mathematics 536. Students with a DES missing any of the above subjects may be admitted, space permitting, but may be required to complete remedial courses.
