Description:

The BCIT Global Trade and Transportation Management diploma program provides the skills necessary to market products globally, import, export, transport goods, and manage an international team. You will analyze international markets, plan product entry strategies, and design optimum transportation strategies to grow global trade for Canadian and international companies. Graduates travel the world, establish trade partnerships, and improve the movement and distribution of goods and services in Canada and abroad.


Prerequisites:

  •  Grade12 English 
  •  Grade11 Precalculus  or  Grade11 Principles of Mathematics 
English: two years of education in English in an English-speaking country with one of the following: English Studies 12 (67%) or English First Peoples 12 (67%) or Other acceptable BC and Yukon courses or 3.0 credits of post-secondary English, humanities or social sciences (67%) from a recognized institution

Math: one of the following: Pre-Calculus 11 (67%) or Foundations of Math 11 (67%) or Workplace Math 11 (67%) or Other acceptable BC and Yukon courses or Math for Business - OPMT 0199 (67%) or Business Math Assessment Test - OPMT 0198 (67%)
