The specialization in Economics (Commerce) is available to all majors within the Bachelor of Commerce degree. You will gain the knowledge and analytical skills to understand the forces shaping business, finance and the global economy through the Economics (Commerce) specialization. Build a strong foundation in economic theory while exploring topics such as market behaviour, public policy, international trade and data analysis. Through hands-on learning, you'll develop the ability to interpret economic trends, evaluate business strategies and make evidence-based decisions. Graduates are prepared to solve complex economic and business challenges and pursue careers in finance, consulting, government, policy, research and other data-driven fields.

Current Ontario secondary school students must complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six 4U or 4M credits including English (ENG4U) with a minimum average of 60 per cent and one of Advanced Functions (MHF4U), Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U) with a minimum average of 60 per cent.?
