The General Certificate in Refugee and Migration Studies is offered through the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. It is a general, interdisciplinary certificate addressing issues concerning ethnic communities, gender, racism, migration, policy, cultural identity and international relations. The Refugee & Migration Studies certificate may be completed either as a direct entry certificate or concurrently with the fulfillment of requirements for a bachelor's degree.
Requirements for admission:
For Canadian High School Students or those who have never attended a college or university, please refer to the Future Students Admission Requirements. The Future Students Section includes information for International High School Students, College/University Student, Mature Students, Indigenous Students, Visiting Students and Student returning to York to complete my degree.
Note: Participation in the Centre for Refugee Studies is required.
