Description:The Certificate is an interdisciplinary program open to undergraduates planning to work in multicultural or cross-cultural settings. In today’s increasingly interdependent world, the need for critical understanding of ethnicity and social justice has been acknowledged by educators, community workers and other professionals. In response to this need, the program offers students the opportunity to explore causes of unequal treatment, to compare social justice issues internationally and to develop strategies for social change in light of this knowledge.
