Majors in biology receive a broad-based education that includes the chemical, genetic, genomic, microbial, cellular, developmental, and evolutionary principles of life. Biology majors can choose from concentrations that provide them with a well-rounded background in biology, or students may select courses to prepare them for graduate study or a particular area of study such as pre-health professional fields (such as medicine or dentistry), marine biology, or environmental science. |

Requirements: - University of South Alabama International Application for Admission with the $35 processing fee
- Academic records detailing course work completed in secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 as calculated by the Office of International Admissions and Student Programs.
- English Proficiency Requirement- submit one of the following (unofficial copies of scores will be accepted for admission, but official copies will be required prior to enrollment)
- Deposits - A non-refundable admissions deposit of $500 USD will be required of a student before an I-20 or DS-2019 is issued.
