Description:

The School of Nursing at Queen’s offers a challenging and innovative program to prepare you with the knowledge and skills to provide advanced nursing care to individuals and families in primary care settings and conduct small research projects, as well as the critical appraisal skills needed for developing the scientific basis for practice. Situated in an academic environment that embodies scholarship, graduates are well prepared for careers as leaders in clinical practice and education.

    • Undergraduate university degree in nursing from an accredited university with a minimum overall average equivalent to B (calculated over the core courses of the program).
    • Two academic letters of reference (e.g. course professors in undergraduate program); and one clinical reference (3 referees total, see Additional Required Information tab)
    • Undergraduate courses in research methodology and statistics;
    • Active registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario (International students cannot apply to this program unless they have active registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario in Canada)
