This two-semester General Arts and Science Liberal Arts Ontario Tech University (Ontario Tech) Transfer pathway is designed for individuals interested in pursuing advanced standing into the second year of Ontario Tech’s Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Forensic Psychology. Note that students must complete BIOL 1841U – Essentials of Biology during their first semester of study at Ontario Tech or during the preceding spring/summer term. This pathway provides opportunities to refine essential academic skills and develop the foundational knowledge needed to help ensure success in subsequent post-secondary studies. This includes strengthening one’s critical thinking and problem-solving abilities as well as increasing one’s social science knowledge, particularly with respect to psychology. Furthermore, this program allows students to familiarize themselves with post-secondary life, workload, expectations, and surroundings.
