The Community Health Sciences (MPH) program was designed to meet the needs of local health professionals who wish to further their knowledge in the areas of public and population health. Through innovative core and elective courses and a supervised field placement, the Community Health Sciences (MPH) program equips students with the knowledge and skills to enhance career development in public health.


These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  • A minimum of a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in the health sciences or allied health professions, with honours degrees in the biological or social sciences.
  • A minimum of three years paid work experience in the public health field.
  • Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 7]
    • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 92]
