Description:

The Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology Graduate Program offers graduate programs leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. The Program has the expertise necessary for the instruction and training of advanced students in areas that include analytical biochemistry, cell biochemistry, cell biology and cancer, enzymes and metabolism, nucleic acids and gene expression, plant biochemistry, protein structure, cellular and molecular biology of eukaryotes, microbial genetics and molecular biology, immunology, medical microbiology, microbial physiology, and virology.

    Applicants require a Honours Baccalaureate (or equivalent) from a college or university of acceptable standing, and equivalent to the degree at this university with a specialization in Biochemistry or related discipline. A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units).
