Description:

Construction Electricians design, install, repair, inspect, operate, maintain and decommission electrical systems. This occupation is different from an Industrial Electrician.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.



    • Registered as an apprentice with ITA BC.
    • Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson.
    • Not registered as an apprentice? Ask your employer to register you as an apprentice with the Industry Training Authority (ITA). It’s free, simple, and can be completed within a few minutes online or printed and mailed to the ITA Head Office. More details can be found at www.itabc.ca
