Description:This unique program provides people who have a history of addiction and/or mental health issues with the opportunity to receive training and employment in the construction industry. The Construction Craft Worker Foundations program is designed for students who see work as part of their recovery process. The goal of this program is to help people with barriers to training and employment take the first steps towards a job in Toronto’s construction industry.

Admission Requirements

Additional Admission Requirements:
    Applicants are selected on the basis of:

    • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

    • Mental Health and/or Addictions History

    • Mature student status (19 years of age or older)

    Intake process involves all of the following:

    1. Application completion

    2. Academic assessment

    3. Skills assessment

    4. Interview
