Description:

The ability to produce high quality video content is now in greater demand than ever before and that means qualified producers and editors are finding rewarding careers in this creative industry. Through this program, you’ll learn to shoot and edit video projects at a professional level for storytelling that stands out. Your videos and productions can be used to share information and news stories, establish a personal or corporate brand, or tell an important story by producing your own short documentary.

Each course in this program has been developed by professionals working in their field. By focusing specifically on the essential skills of video storytelling and professional editing, you’ll develop the ability and confidence to create professional videos for a variety of platforms from promotional and educational videos to branding and personal use, or to complement an existing career. In this program you have the option to produce a final project, designed to bring your skills together and demonstrate your proficiency as a videographer.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have two years of education in English in an English-speaking country with one of the following: English 12 (67%) or 3.0 credits of post-secondary English, humanities or social sciences (67%) from a recognized institution.
