The Financial Aid Department provides financial assistance service to students who are enrolled full-time at Dawson College. Quebec Loans and bursaries help students who wish to study full-time but who do not have the financial means to do so. Students who are registered on a full-time basis, a minimum of 180 hours per semester, may apply for the Quebec Loans and Bursaries Program. Applications can be submitted throughout the year; however, it takes on average, six to eight weeks for processing applications for the fall or winter semester. In order to qualify for financial help, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and a resident of Quebec. Similar aid is available from your home province if you are not a resident of Quebec.
