| Description: | The Biological Sciences Technology programs at NAIT are comprised of a common first year for all students, offered at the main campus in Edmonton. The common first year is followed by one of three program specializations: Laboratory and Research, Renewable Resources, and the Environmental Sciences. Entrance into the second year is competitive based on the academic performance of the student in Year One. The Renewable Resources program stream specializes in training natural resource technologists to have a wide range of field skills and knowledge. Graduates will acquire skills and abilities in areas such as field methods, analytical and laboratory skills, and work independently and on teams in both laboratory and field settings. |
