Profile

Renison University College is a place to learn and a place to live. Affiliated with the University of Waterloo, Renison offers degree courses in Social Development Studies (Bachelor of Arts) and Social Work (Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work). You'll have all the benefits of graduating with a University of Waterloo degree combined with the advantages of learning in a smaller, more intimate environment. At Renison, you'll take the same courses in a much smaller classroom - our largest room can physically hold 100 students, but we cap our class sizes at 50. A smaller class means more participation, interaction, and engagement.

Areas of Expertise

A focus in social sciences and social work provide opportunities for Renison students to make an impact in their local communities, and our diverse selection of language, culture, and humanities classes help prepare them to become citizens of a global community.

Each college has a unique residence system and atmosphere. There are differences in room setup, student life activities, and even meal plans. Renison offers a small, intimate and diverse community. Students living at Renison are studying in programs from all across campus and since we have upper year residents they can be in any term of study.
