Board governed and operating publicly under the Alberta Post-secondary Learning Act, Portage College has been serving the region for over 50 years and is proud to be the first choice for learners in northeast Alberta. The College boasts seven strategically located campuses throughout the region.

Areas of Expertise

From humble beginnings the College has steadily grown to the successful institution it is today. Portage College offers over forty certificate and diploma programs and has campuses or learning locations in the communities of: Boyle, Cold Lake, Frog Lake, Lac La Biche, Saddle Lake, St. Paul, and Whitefish Lake.

Living on campus is more than just a convenient place to stay. Whether it's your first time away from home, or if you're a returning resident, you will find that living on campus provides a safe environment that promotes academic success and provides plenty of social, recreational, and educational learning opportunities.

Special Services

Counselling services offers a wide variety of services to assist individuals with educational, academic, career, vocational, and personal issues. Childcare services to students are conveniently offered on the Lac La Biche campus.
