Procedure for Canadian Students

The application process to Fulford Academy's programs requires the following components: * application form (online) * a photo of the student * application fee ($200) * most recent school transcript * copy of passport or birth certificate * telephone or personal interview

Procedure for International Students

• Apply online • Pay application fee of CAD$ 200 • Copy of your passport • Report cards • Photo (recent, face, frontal, light background) • "Welcome Interview" has to be completed with our admission team via skype or facetime- we will contact you to arrange a time. • Our on-line language proficiency test or Toefl/ iELTS (for grade 9-12 as well as credit programs in the summer)

Notes:Fulford Academy accepts local area students in day programs, national and international students in our boarding programs for Grade 6-12. We also offer popular summer programs for local students and our international students. Middle School Students in our Middle School program spend much of the day with a dedicated grade teacher who creates a more consistent and sensitive learning environment. For ESL students, our ESL certified teachers provide support in a small classroom environment allowing students to improve their English skills while studying their academic courses. Courses * Math * Physical Education * Science * Social Studies * Art * Language Arts High School Fulford Academy’s High School Program is for students who are looking for individual attention in a small classroom environment to earn Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credits towards their high school graduation. Our High School Program is ideal for students who have an intermediate to advanced level of English. To graduate and earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, there are three major requirements a student must meet: * Successfully complete all 30 of the specific required credits * Successfully complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test * Complete 40 hours of community service Online High School Courses Fulford Online offers our in-class programs to online students through Google classroom. Our online courses are for students who are looking for flexibility in their busy schedule and want to take 1-2 courses per semester online. For international students, we offer a hybrid (blended learning through online and in-class) in our Dual High School Diploma program. Visit fulfordonline.ca for more information. International Programs and Camps (Summer) 3-Week Summer Camp Our exciting summer camp program is the perfect opportunity for students aged 11-17 who are looking for a uniquely Canadian experience! Class lessons will be taught each morning and students will then apply what they learn through afternoon activities such as museums, nature, and cultural activities. Visit close by cities like Kingston, Ottawa, and Montreal during weekend activities! 4 or 7-Week Summer Orientation Program This program is ideal for students looking to study in Canada and improve their English. Students will participate in 157 (or 217) hours of in-class instruction focusing on language intensive, content-based courses such as Science, Math, English, Phys. Ed, History & Geography, all with ESL support! Students receive a report card upon completion of the program. Our summer program involves an exciting Residential Life program filled with a weekly club schedule and cultural weekend trips & activities. Students can expect to take advantage of our proximity to Ottawa, Kingston & Montreal and visit some of Canada's amusement parks, museums, nature sights, and local attractions! 7-Week Academic Credit Program This is the ideal program for students with an intermediate to advanced level of English and who have already completed Grade 9. Students will participate in 220 hours of in-class instruction focusing on language intensive, content-based courses. There will be a study hall period in the evenings and students will receive a Ministry of Education Report Card. Local Summer Camp We offer a Tech camp for local area students for one week (Mon-Fri) for local area students. This camp explores a variety of coding and robotics programming and gives local students the chance to meet students from all over the world.
