Requirements for Canadian Students

Students admitted into Augustine College are expected to function at a university level. References and a two-part admission interview are required. In addition, SAT or other independent academic assessments may be requested when applicable. The student's high school transcript may be one component of the entrance assessment, but considerable weight is given to the student's demonstrated verbal and written skills.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Preference is given to applications received by February 15. Applications for the following year are normally considered beginning November 1. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation (one personal and one academic), report of accomplishments (here documentation, including transcripts of different kinds, may be relevant), a sample of the student's writing (e.g. 750-word essay on one of three selected topics), an academic interview, a social interview, a non-refundable application fee of $50.00 in the form of a cheque made out to "Augustine College," and a completed application form, which can be downloaded from http://www.augustinecollege.org/admissions.htm.
