You can choose from specialist areas such as: petrology, geochemistry, surface processes, volcanism, tectonics and geological mapping. As a Geology student, you can expect a balance between theory and practice. You will gain experience with technical equipment while undertaking fieldwork in order to gather and interpret complex data and appreciate the uncertainty of some geological models.
