One of the study secrets that many on campus students are just learning about is the use of Athabasca University courses to help fulfill their on-campus degree requirements. Students are discovering that they can register in an AU independent study course any time of the year, and that AU courses are usually transferable into their on-campus programs.

This is especially helpful when the course you want is not offered or is filled. A tip from experienced students: make sure you get written transfer approval from your dean or department head before you register in the AU course. Of course, you can also complete your entire program through Athabasca University, an especially attractive option if you need to work fulltime.
