Professional Accounting ISP (MPAcc)

This program is an innovative answer to your demands as an international student, as it combines an intensive Business English program with Canadian accounting knowledge and also addresses the demands of a business world that needs accountants who can think critically, communicate effectively and respond to challenges that arise from around the globe. Your success as an MPAcc grad is due to our focus on a strong, integrative approach to accounting.

  • Course-based – 12 months / 15 courses + optional 4-month co-op

This is not a funded program.

Applications received after this date will be reviewed if space permits. If the program is full, they will be looked at for the next August intake.

A pre-admission assessment is the best way of assessing your eligibility for our Graduate programs. Together, we will identify your career and education goals and provide you with advice and strategies to submit a strong application.

Admission requirements

  • MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    • Four-year bachelor’s degree in accounting (Canadian equivalent) from an accredited university
    • B/Second Class/75 percent academic average in last two years of study (Canadian equivalent)
  • MINIMUM ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY SCORE (Please be advised that the MBA (ISP) program does NOT accept English Language test waivers.):
    • TOEFL: IBT 88 (with minimum of 21 on speaking and 21 on writing)
    • Academic IELTS: 6.5  (no section under 6.0)
  • APPLICATION DOCUMENTS (all documents must be submitted electronically)
    • Online OUAC application
    • Application fee ($140 CAD)
    • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions
    • Two electronic reference reports
    • Statement of interest
    • Resumé
    • Scan of official TOEFL, IELTS or PTE score
    • A personal interview will be required
