What I loved about NC was that within the first week we were handling cameras and shooting stories.

Niagara College laid the groundwork to start my career. What I loved about NC was that within the first week we were handling cameras and shooting stories. It was a very hands on approach that I needed. The faculty were incredible. Everyone I had was not only proficient in what they do but also very caring. They wanted you to succeed.

Ryan Shaw, Program Graduate Director of Photography Freelancer (The Amazing Race, Top Chef Canada, Food Network & more)

The BRTF program at Niagara College allows students to get hands on experience using industry equipment within the first month of school. I created great relationships with my professors who graciously helped me prepare for the workforce. One of my personal highlights from this program was interning at City TV where I got to network with industry professionals and work on set of the lifestyle talk show, Cityline. With my College experience, I successfully managed to secure a job in Toronto for CHCH as a Master Control Operator before I graduated my program.
