Biomedical Engineering - BEng

Is it for you?

Biomedical engineers make a difference in community and global health. You’ll learn to create new materials, devices, algorithms and processes that assist doctors and medical researchers with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and conditions. You’ll graduate with the skills needed to transform lives in emerging areas of health care or clinical engineering thanks to:

  • The option to enrol in a paid co-op program
  • Optional specializations in Management Sciences and Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship
  • Leading-edge research projects

In your fourth year, you’ll study a range of state-of-the-art topics in biomedical engineering, and will also be involved in a hands-on capstone design project.

 Accreditations:

  • The Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board.
