Philosophy

Philosophy is the study of ideas. Concordia University of Edmonton’s Philosophy program stresses the fundamentals of philosophy by studying its history, and also pursues cutting-edge topics around ethics, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, and others. As a student of philosophy, you will develop and refine exceptional reasoning skills, learn how to adapt and think beyond the ordinary.

If you pursue this program, you can do so via a 3-year concentration or a 4-year major.

Pursuing philosophy is well suited for students who are interested in going into law, as well as enhancing a student’s chance for acceptance, placement, and financial aid in graduate school.
