Practical Writing Strategies

This course is designed for students with basic English language writing
skills who wish to write more efficiently and effectively. Students will be
taught how to write clear, concise, non-sexist prose; how to adapt their
writing style to reach targetted readers; and how to overcome "writer's block".
They will learn techniques for making outlines, generating ideas, organizing
materials and developing a focus in their writing.
