Enrich your police service application with post-secondary training. 

Get a head start for employment in a police service with a solid foundation of police procedures. Cambrian’s in-class assignments, scenario training, fitness components, and community work complement topics covered by the Ontario Police College. 

Hands-on training includes three replica jail cells in our scenario room and extensive involvement in community initiatives. You’ll get opportunities to network alongside working professional officers from local police agencies and volunteer within the community. Upon graduation, you can pursue your career goals or earn a second diploma in public safety in one additional year.

  • Physical fitness integrated throughout the program to prepare you for the police academy fitness test 
  • Introduction into many facets of policing and law – traffic management, police powers, federal and provincial statutes, provincial offences, youth law, etc.

  • Option to earn a second diploma in another public safety program in just 1 year when you graduate

For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including:

  • Any grade 12 English (C) or (U)
