Program Summary

The Faculty of Engineering and Design’s Computer Systems Engineering program under the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering focuses on the design and implementation of integrated computer systems to solve problems in, for example, real-time control systems, autonomous vehicles, wireless networks, distributed systems and multimedia applications.

The Computer Systems Engineering program is fully accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board, allowing graduates to meet the educational requirements for registering as a professional engineer.

You will learn how to engineer systems based on computers and acquire a deep understanding of computers as integrated software/hardware systems.
