Learn in a global context
The course covers a wide range of global teaching contexts, from young learners to older learners; dealing with students from different backgrounds and social groups.
Professional expertise
Your modules will draw on the latest research from industry and from the teaching and assessment course team’s expertise. This course will be delivered in-line with the values embedded in CollectiveEd: The Centre for Coaching, Mentoring & Professional Learning. The Centre is located at our university and aims to expand the knowledge base on coaching, mentoring and collaborative professional development.”
Teaching and learning
Assessments will be practice-based with the option to take synoptic assessments across modules to ease your workload. Your study will provide opportunities for personalised learning. You’ll gain expertise in at least two areas of ELT and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your teacher agency and identity.
