The Entrepreneurship major is offered to students interested in creating and leading their own entrepreneurial venture. Entrepreneurship graduates will have a broad-based knowledge of management with a focus on the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship.

A variety of courses are offered including creative idea generation, small business management, lean venture creation and entrepreneurial finance.

Students in the Entrepreneurship major are required to successfully participate in the Faculty of Business and Information Technology (FBIT) incubator or complete an internship in an entrepreneurial start-up. This integrative experiential learning component supports graduates, allowing them to put theory into practice.

Ontario Tech is where students break boundaries and do things they never thought possible. Students have access to great Business and Accounting professors who motivate and share their professional experiences, and accomplished mentors and colleagues who push students to achieve greatness. I played varsity sports as a member of the Ridgebacks men’s soccer team. I had the privilege of studying abroad on exchange in Europe for a semester; this experience will always be one of the best of my life.
