Sessions will include active elements that will give students first-hand experience of what to expect when they enroll at Vancouver Island University.

We are excited about the changes that we made this year in response to the feedback we received last year. Most notably:

• Each day will begin with a fun Pep Rally in our VIU gym hosted by our Discovery Day hosts: Student Ambassadors, Dayna and Elijah
• We are moving to a Faculty Open House Model which we hope will provide students greater flexibly in exploring our academic offerings.

Faculty Open Houses will run from 10-11:30 and again from 12:30-2:00

And of course, we are repeating all the most popular bits from previous years:

• Discovery Days is open to ALL students in Grades 10, 11 and 12.
• Pizza lunch will be provided, at no cost to all students and chaperones attending the event.
• An Instagram contest with amazing tech prizes, a $5 Starbucks card for each student and lots of chances for students to win VIU hoodies at the Faculty Open Houses.
