At Marshall University School of Pharmacy, our mission is to prepare future pharmacists who can meet the unique healthcare needs of patients in the 21st century. Our Pharm.D. program is designed to be learner-centered, interdisciplinary, and team-based. From day one, you’ll be immersed in an environment that emphasizes active learning and collaboration with fellow pharmacy students and other healthcare professionals. We provide a dynamic and diverse educational experience that prepares you for the real world. Our strong partnerships with local medical facilities offer you the chance to apply your skills in real-life settings under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Areas of Expertise

In addition to the Pharm.D. program, we also offer a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS), a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MSPS), and a dual Pharm.D./MBA degree in collaboration with the Brad D. Smith Schools of Business. These programs further enhance your education and open doors to various pharmacy settings upon graduation.

On Campus Housing

Student Housing Option:
The Landing, in Huntington, WV, features a modern, convenient community where location meets the needs of our residents. Adjacent to the Health Sciences campus and a few blocks from Marshall University Huntington campus, The Landing offers housing options to current graduate students, students in Pharmacy, Medicine, Forensic Science, Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant programs, students 21+ years of age, Faculty & Staff, as well as, Cabell Huntington Hospital Employees. Their pet-friendly community offers studio and two-bedroom apartments that feature GE stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Marshall University Student Involvement & Leadership:
Student Involvement and Leadership, located in the LEAD Center, is the point of contact for all students who wish to be involved. They envision an active, engaged student community that develops leaders, builds strong friendships, embraces service to others, and exemplifies a respect for diversity.

We provide educational challenges, resources, and support through an integrated co-curricular program. Involvement in opportunities sponsored by their office allow students to develop leadership and social skills, improve our sense of community at Marshall, and enhance student character, citizenship, and respect for diversity.
