Profile

Our business degrees offer a comprehensive, interdisciplinary education, giving students the opportunity to expand their interest both in and outside the classroom. We deliver educational opportunities in a positive learning environment. Our goal is to offer a dynamic interaction between learning and the application of knowledge. We foster the development of business leaders and professionals through involvement and learning with our key stakeholders, through responsive programs and delivery methods, and through our intellectual contributions. Our strategic location on the Canada/US border, combined with a talented and internationally diverse faculty, provides our students and business partners with opportunities other Canadian business schools cannot duplicate. At the centre of Canada's own automotive industry, the University is also in the heartland of traditional North American manufacturing industries and newer high technology industries. It is this environment, which affords students and faculty members nearby access to a wide array of business and industry at the forefront of modern global competition.

Career Planning

Co-op placements provide students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while completing their degrees. These placements also allow students to earn money to help with the cost of their education. Both of these programs combine the usual 40 courses with three work terms. The Centre for Career Education is committed to working with current students and recent graduates in their quest to develop the knowledge and skills they need to build a career plan, obtain fulfilling employment, and excel in the workplace.
