McMaster’s twelve on-campus residences are home to almost 3,700 students. Our residences are located within a five-minute walk to classes, athletic facilities, libraries and our award-winning dining facilities. We offer a range of building sizes and themed residence communities. Buildings are divided into traditional dormitory style–where you live with one/two other roommates in the same bedroom or apartment/suite style–where you have a private room and share a kitchen, washroom(s) and living room with three to five other students.

Off Campus Housing

While thousands of students live in residence, the majority of the McMaster students live off-campus. McMaster’s Off-Campus Resource Centre assists students to find apartments, houses, rooms within a house or other suitable off-campus living options. McMaster’s Society of Off-Campus Students (SOCS) is also one of the largest clubs sponsored by the McMaster Students Union. SOCS strives to help students connect to McMaster.

Career Planning

The Business Career Services Office (BCS) provides advice and practical guidance through individual counselling and group sessions to M.B.A. students to assist them with planning their careers.

The M.B.A. Association is an integral part of the M.B.A. program in that it augments the curricular activities of the program with other activities of interest for the students and faculty. Among the various areas in which the Association plays an active part are academic affairs, professional development and social affairs.

Information Technology

The Kenneth Taylor Hall Computer Lab and Printing facility is conveniently open seven days a week. Here students have access to course software as well as e-mail and the Internet. All M.B.A. students, especially those in E-commerce, are expected to have a laptop computer. The DeGroote School of Business does not provide this equipment, but does have an agreement with IBM for discounted purchase of laptop computers.
