Founded in 1913, Olds College has offered quality education for over a century. Through our regular programming, continued education, and online and blended programming, we provide accessible educational opportunities within Alberta and beyond. We are passionate about the agriculture industry and proud to be Canada's Smart Agriculture College, specializing in Agriculture, Horticulture, Land and Environmental stewardship. We work closely with industry to advance and adapt our programming to ensure our graduates have the skills to succeed. Olds College has put an emphasis on hands-on training, applied research, and innovative learning that has resulted in graduates who are in-demand and have the skills and the tools they need to succeed.

Living on campus in our newly constructed Centennial Village private rooms or College Courts townhouses can provide many advantages, both socially and academically. All students are encouraged to live in student housing and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from varying cultures, backgrounds, life experiences and belief systems ultimately enhancing and broadening your interpersonal, team and life skills. Note: cost is based on a 4 month term. Weekly prices are available on the website
Note: A meal plan is required for students living in Centennial Village private rooms, but optional for students living in the College Court Townhouses

Off Campus Housing

The Off Campus Housing Listing is a service provided for the students of Olds College by the Students' Association (SAOC).

Incoming Students

Your Orientation Day will be the start date of your program. The Olds College site will be updated with information for your program approximately one month prior to your program start date.

Career Planning

Our Career Advising Office provides extensive services to students to help with finding placements for practicums and directed field studies, as well as employment upon graduation.

Career fairs, resume-writing and interview skills workshops and an online job board are just some of the features available to you as a student.


Go Broncos! The Broncos Athletics program is built on a foundation of teamwork, strong work ethic, and athletic excellence. We compete in 8 different sports in the Alberta Collegiate Athletics Conference (ACAC), and strive to ensure the success of our teams, and the personal and athletic growth of our student athletes. Individuals interested in playing for the Broncos are asked to contact the head coach of the team they are interested in.

Olds College is situated on traditional Treaty Seven Territory, land of the Blackfoot Nations and Region Three of the Alberta Metis Nation. Olds College has developed two new spaces to enhance our indigenous students' experience at Olds College. The Olds College Indigenous Centre gathering place opened in September 2017. In the summer months a traditional Blackfoot tipi is erected.

Special Services

Olds College Health & Wellness is here to support students in a variety of free and confidential services. They include counselling, a health clinic, accessibility services, a test centre and our indigenous support services. If you need to see a doctor or nurse, need accommodations so you can be successful in your studies, or want to take care of your mental health, Olds College Health & Wellness is here for you.

Affiliated Institutions

Beginning your studies at a college offers many advantages. Colleges are often close to home, class sizes are smaller, tuition fees are more affordable and the quality of education is excellent. Many Olds College diplomas provide you with a transfer credit opportunity by which you may receive up to two years of transfer towards a specific degree program. For questions related to Transfer Agreements, Partner Institutions, and student exchanges, please contact the Office of the Registrar.

International Involvement

For Olds College students who are interested in completing degrees in another country, we may have transfer or articulations agreements in place. Please visit the Office of the Registrar in person or on the website to learn more.

Campus Tour

Personal and small group campus tours are available by booking through on the Olds College website. A staff member or student ambassador will show you around our beautiful campus, focusing on the areas of interest to you. Tours are generally available Monday-Friday, except statutory holidays, from 10am - 2pm. Please allow 3 business days to arrange your tour.
