Special Services

Aboriginal Education Access Office, students with disabilities, peer tutoring, and health centres. The College also has a Child Care Centre located at the Welland Campus. It accepts children from three months to five years of age on a full day basis. A half day with lunch is available for children in kindergarten. The centre is open Monday to Friday.

International Involvement

The College has been involved with students and programs in several countries including China, Botswana, Japan, Hungary, Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and many others.

Special arrangements with a number of US colleges and universities provide connections to education in the United States. The department is actively involved in projects to increase international student enrolment from all areas of the world, as well as to implement programs that contribute to the awareness and appreciation of cultural diversities in our communities.

Other

Niagara College offers a full range of student services designed to assist students in their academic and personal goals including health services, counselling, career counselling and placement, learning resource centres, campus stores, food services, parking, and transportation. The Welland and Glendale Campuses offer a full range of services and activities including gymnasiums, fitness centres, cafeterias, learning resource centres, open computer labs, and campus stores.

The After Hours Student Centre on the Welland Campus and the Alexander Davidson Student Centre at the Glendale Campus are popular places to meet friends. There is an excellent line-up of entertainment and activities throughout the academic year.
